How does music video production benefit me as a band or musician?
Today social networking is king, and even YouTube is becoming it’s own social networking site. Having a music video allows you to reach out to an audience that would normally never find you. Studies have shown that today’s viewers and audience are more likely to watch a video than they are to just listen to a song…in fact studies have shown that music alone, people typically only listen to the first 1:30…but if you have an interesting and engaging video they will not only watch the entire video, they will share it with their friends. Today, that is where you want to be. You not only want your audience to listen to your whole song, you want them to tell their friends about it. What type of Music Video Production do you offer?
We can offer you a few different options when it comes to music video production.
Our personal favourite type of video to do is one in which we video the band playing, but we also have a storyline running alongside the video. This type of video gives us the best of both worlds. We can get creative and fun shots of the band performing somewhere, and we can also tie a story into the song giving your audience something else to take in. We will work with you on the storyline and the shot list of the band to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that the end result is something that everyone is happy with.
Story Video: We can also offer music video production in which all we have is a story. We like to refer to these videos as short films, because that is essentially what they are. Again, we will work with you on the overall story line of the video to ensure that we capture the mood and feel you were after. We are all creatives after all, and we all will have ideas and input into the final film/video.
Performance: Finally, we can offer you the music video production of a performance. This can take on many different forms, but the basis is that the entire video is of the band performing somewhere. This can be in the middle of a field or even on a boat. It can be in a proper music venue or an empty warehouse….the possibilities are almost endless here.
Do you offer anything else with your music video production?
Yes. In todays day and age, more and more bands are recording and selling EP‘s as opposed to full length albums. With this, comes promotion dedicated to that EP. Being a professional band photographer, we see this as the perfect opportunity for bands to make the most of this. We can also offer you a band promo shoot based upon the video. This gives you a complete brand presence dedicated to that one song and gives your audience the familiarity of seeing the branding. For example….if you wanted to use our music video production services for a video that involved the band playing as zombies…we can also do a band promo shoot with the band as zombies…giving you a consistent message about your song and your EP. If you were to book our music video production services as well as our band photographer services, the price is discounted.

We can offer our music video production services starting at £300 and if you were to book our band photographer services as well it would start at £400, giving you incredible marketing tools that offer a significant return on investment.
