George Fairbairn Photography was started in the music scene, so being a band photographer  is something that came naturally to us and is something we take great pride in doing.  Having good, high quality images is more important these days for bands than in the past, and as a band photographer we are dedicated to helping you get those images.  Easy access to the internet means that bands and musicians can be found very easily…and you need to stand out from the crowd!!  This is where us being a band photographer can help you.  We pride ourselves in making your images unique, creative, contemporary, but most importantly…YOU!  As a band photographer, we ensure that we capture the essence of the music and the members of the band, ensuring that you have images that stand out from the crowd, tell your audience who you are and what you are about.

Band Photographer Services:

As a professional band photographer specialising as an editorial music photographer, we can offer you a wide variety of different types of shoots.  We like to make sure that we get the feel of the band, or song, through in the shoot.  With that in mind we can offer you posed shots or more editorial type of shots.  Posed shots doesn’t necessarily mean that all of your images are going to look like Nickleback.  We make sure that we capture who you are, without being too cliche.  Sometimes though, cliche works, but with our own style applied it will still be different and unique.  We can also offer more abstract imagery as well.  Don’t want people to know who you are?  No problem, we can still work with you and get the images you require…you may not even have to be in the shots!  We also love fun, themed shoots.  Want to be walking on mars in your shots?  Not a problem.  Come to us with your ideas, and we as a band photographer will work with you and get you the images you need and want.

We also now offer Music Video Production!!! We can offer you our band photographer and music video production services in one package!  This is ideal for bands releasing EP’s and singles that want promotion tailored for that EP or single.

George Fairbairn Photography likes to give our clients and customers quotes based upon what their specific needs are.  This is no different with our band photography either.  All quotes include our creative fee as well as a license to use the images in either 1 media, 1 country, for 2 years or 2 media, 1 country for 1 year.  We can work with your budget, so don’t hesitate to contact us…it just might be cheaper than you think!

Band Photographer – areas covered:

I am a band photographer based in Suffolk and can quickly and easily cover all of East Anglia for your promotional band and musician photography.  This includes Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex and most certainly includes Norwich, Cambridge, Ipswich, Peterborough, and London.  Most of the East and South East are easily accessible from where we are located.  The Cambridge train station offers a quick 45 minute journey into London and we make that journey into London quite often.  If you are based somewhere else though, don’t fret!!  I can come to you just about anywhere in the UK…this is where a mileage fee may be incurred and if it requires me to stay overnight, that would need to be included as well.  But, this is all something we will talk about when we talk!  I have had the great pleasure of working with some amazing bands such as Hello Bear (winners of the Next Big Thing) out of Norwich as well as Dying Breeds, Solidagoes, Keep It Secret, Project MultiVitamin, DJ TDK, Fiona Stein, AUX Innocent, and Winkzy.
