There’s an old saying that goes like this… “The Cobblers children are the worst shod”.  Essentially what this means is that even though their parent is a cobbler, they never have very good shoes, or any shoes at all… in essence.  Being a professional photographer, this is a saying I really try to ensure I don’t fall into.  It’s a privilege to be able to create amazing images for a living, and I want to make sure that the most important part of my life gets to be involved in that as well.  You can see this in the annual christmas photos I do of my family here and here.

I have had this idea for a photo of my son for quite some time.  I could perfectly picture it in my head, something funny and silly that would be reminiscent of something you would see in an advertising campaign for something relating to children and kids.  The problem was that recently my son has started to prefer showers over baths!  No idea why, but that’s just been his “thing” lately.  😀  Thankfully he wanted a bath again so I grabbed all my equipment and made the most of bath time!!  My son is an absolutely brilliant model and can nail every expression I ask of him, so the shoot was super quick and we were able to get back to the important stuff….making bath time fun! 😀

Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them!
