One of my favourite type of portrait enquiries comes when people want me to take their portraits with my fashion photographer hat on. Jo contacted me and said she wanted her portraits to be very fashion and magazine like, as a professional fashion photographer I was more than happy to do this.. Not a problem at all, and it some of the stuff I enjoy doing the most. Jo travelled up from London to Cambridge to have her portraits done with me and I found a great new location for outdoor, rural type of images. The fashion photographer in me was ecstatic as I usually do a lot of urban fashion stuff. We went to Wandlebury Country Park just outside of Cambridge towards Haverhill. It is a very large country park with a lot of really nice forest and it gave us a wide variety of locations to shoot. The morning of the shoot I was a little concerned about the weather, but thankfully by the afternoon things had cleared up a bit and there wasn’t anymore rain!
Anyways, here are some of the images I did for Jo. She should be happy with my fashion photographer styled images for her.
So there you have a selection of some of my favourite shots from my shoot with Jo. Thank you to Jo for travelling up from London for the shoot, though I should point out that I have no problem travelling to London myself for a shoot and do it quite often. Jo just really wanted some rural shots as opposed to more urban stuff that we would get in London.
